Insurance Transformation Director, SEA from a Consulting Firm (Singapore/Malaysia/Indonesia)

Job Scope:
- On-going projects, ranging from valuation and pricing, M&A, capital management etc.
- Implementation of IFRS 17 from both a technical and non-technical actuarial standpoint
- Past performance diagnostics and future strategy planning to support our clients achieve their growth objectives
- Target operating model design and implementation to facilitate digitalization, growth, efficiency etc.
- Process improvement and technology enablement across the entire insurance value chain (including but not limited to distribution, underwriting and claims management)
- New market entry for (re)insurers across SEA
- Business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities, generating proposals and industry benchmarking
- Management and development of junior team members

Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of working experience in the Consulting Industry and/or Financial Services Industry – Insurance (Life / General Insurance / Re-Insurance / Takaful).
- Experience with Prophet modelling and any other computing skills in R/Python/VBA/SAS/SQL is an advantage.
- An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a pre-requisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
- Experience in leading teams and projects.
- Proven demonstration of sound business acumen, teamwork and leadership qualities.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills in English, be self-motivated, and be able to work in stressful situations with changing priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think out-of-the-box, work under pressure and tight project timelines. - Drive, tenacity, client focused and results oriented.
- Knowledge of Southeast Asia market, the core trends and drivers, with proficiency in articulating regulatory, economic, technological, and business impacts on key institutions is an advantage.
